THE COMPAGNY
Founded by Marlène Myrtil in 1998 in Paris, the Kaméléonite company relocated to Martinique in 2008 to develop a body of work that immediately resonates with the French overseas territories.

The company's research and creative activities are rooted in and developed around issues of heritage, the environment and the impact of our post-colonial society.
The company's repertoire - 18 pieces to date - has been performed in France, Belgium, Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana and New York.

Choreographer Marlène Myrtil's projects are nourished by encounters and transmission in educational, social and therapeutic environments.

This artistic commitment is developed alongside dancers, choreographers, visual artists, graphic designers, musicians, video-makers and researchers... From the Caribbean and the continent.
