Marlène Myrtil, whose choreography dialogues with the environment, has experimented with the survey of residents as a tool for artistic creation. The stories, complaints, the shortness of breath, the sensory abnormalities reveal a furious, resilient and therapeutic dance. 

Thus, the performance Océan brun is nourished by imaginary, suspended and contrasted moments where the unbearable landscape becomes dreamlike, in which the performers’ dance, like a backwash, reclaims vitality and frees a speech delivered in an uncommon context. 

From the inside out, Océan brun offers a path of listening, of perception where the two performers Deborah Lary and Francis Saint-Albin question the body-landscape, the body-matter, expose their fragility and go on a quest of regaining their own breath…
